ENTRY REGIME FOR CITIZENS OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

HEALTH SITUATION — More information on the current health situation can be found on the World Health Organization website (https://www.who.int).

SECURITY SITUATION — Security and safety level on the islands of Cabo Verde is good, and the risk of incidents is relatively low. It is, however, advisable to pay attention to personal belongings during the stay, to keep valuables in the hotel and to avoid carrying large sums of cash money. Unlit areas should be avoided. Minor theft may occur, including on beaches.

TRANSPORT — The most important airports are:
• Santiago/Praia – Nelson Mandela International Airport,
• Sal/Espargos – Amílcar Cabral International Airport,
• Boa Vista/Rabil – International Airport Aristides Pereira,
• Fogo/São Filipe - São Filipe Airport,
• Maio/Porto Inglês – Maio Airport.

Public transport is generally good. Transport between cities can be unsafe, considering the poor state of the roads. Taxies ordered from hotels are relatively reliable. City buses and taxis in the capital of Praia are reliable and in a good state. Renting cars is possible on the islands of Santiago, Sal, Boa Vista, and Sao Vicente.

OTHER — The dial code for Cabo Verde is 00 238. The national currency is the escudo. Money can be exchanged in banks. Large hotels and restaurants accept some credit cards.
