Visa is required for the holder of an emergency travel document in transit.

 

ENTERING AND LEAVING THE COUNTRY
Visas are required, including for holders of an emergency travel document in transit, but only if they are leaving the international airport zone. The validity period of the passport for travel must be 6 months from the date of planned entry. Additionally, there must be two blank pages in the passport when entering the country. Currently, a negative PCR test for COVID-19 is required to enter or leave the country by plane, or tourists will be accommodated, at their expense, in hospital centres for at least 10 days.

SOCIAL SECURITY AGREEMENT
No social security agreement has been concluded.

USEFUL INFORMATION

HEALTH SITUATION – There is no obligation to vaccinate people who come to Lesotho except those who come from the region with malaria or yellow fever, according to the regulations of the World Health Organization.

SECURITY SITUATION – The usual security measures are implied. Thefts are possible, so personal belongings, especially of higher value, should be kept safe and not left in the car, outside a guarded parking lot, or out of sight.

TRANSPORT – In order to drive a motor vehicle, in addition to a national driver's license, it is necessary to have an international driver's license.

OTHER INFORMATION – One should always inquire about the daily situation and avoid unverified places.
