Political relations
Bilateral relations are not significantly developed.
First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Serbia Ivica Dačić met with previous Minister of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Iceland Tordis Kolbrun Gilfadotir on the sidelines of the OSCE ministerial meeting in Łódź on December 1, 2022.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Serbia Nikola Selaković met with previous Minister of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Iceland Tordis Kolbrun R. Gilfadotir on the sidelines of the 132. session of the Comittee of Ministers of Council of Europe in Turin on 20 May 2022.

Economic relations
In 2022. trade amounted between Serbia and Iceland was 3,6  million euros (exports 3,2 million euros, and imports 0,41 milion euros). In 2021, trade amounted to 3,13 million euros (exports 2,53 million euros, and imports 0.604 million euros).

Bilateral agreements
Two bilateral agreements are in force - the Agreement on Agriculture and the Free Trade Agreement between Serbia and EFTA, 16 June 2020.
