Political relations
Political relations are good. There is mutual interest in military and police cooperation, as well as a need for cooperation in the field of transport.
The visit of the then Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Nikola Selaković, to Jordan on 25 August 2021 was historic in nature and significance, given that there had been no reciprocal high-level visits in recent decades. It also marked the first visit by a Serbian official in the modern history of relations between the two countries.
Economic relations
According to data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, the total trade exchange with Jordan in 2025 amounted to €52.0 million, of which €5.0 million referred to exports from the Republic of Serbia and €47.0 million to imports.
