Political relations
In addition to close cooperation between SFRY and the Republic of Peru within the Non-Aligned Movement, the business operations of Energoprojekt in Peru also had a favourable impact on the relations. Republic of Serbia and Republic of Peru share interest in strengthening political dialogue and cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
On 2 July 2019, the then First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dačić paid a visit to the Republic of Peru.
Economic relations
According to data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, the total trade exchange with Peru in 2025 amounted to €27.8 million, of which €4.7 million referred to exports from the Republic of Serbia and €23.1 million to imports.
