Jovanović confers with the Ambassador of Israel

The State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Nevena Jovanović, met today with the Ambassador of the State of Israel to Serbia, Avivit Bar-Ilan.
It was underlined that our peoples are particularly connected by the shared history of suffering during the Second World War and by the positive contributions of the Jewish community in Serbia, which represents an important part of our society.
Satisfaction was expressed with the high level and dynamic of relations and cooperation between Serbia and Israel, along with the mutual commitment to their further advancement.
The meeting also addressed developments in the regions of the Western Balkans and the Middle East, as well as upcoming activities on the multilateral agenda, in the context of current complex geopolitical challenges.
