Postal cooperation between Serbia and Israel with a joint stamp under the auspices of the MFA

17. Sep 2025.
The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic pf Serbia, Dušan Kozarev, met today with the Ambassador of Israel to Belgrade, Avivit Bar-Ilan, and the Director General of “Post of Serbia” Zoran Anđelković.

Discussions focused on linking the two postal systems in the context of contemporary circumstances that require constant improvement of fast and efficient delivery services.

It was agreed that a memorandum of cooperation between the two national postal services would be harmonized.

In this context, it was concluded that, following the established practice with other friendly countries, a joint stamp symbolizing the strong traditional ties between Serbia and Israel should be issued next year.

Noting that such initiatives always provide a welcome occasion for meeting, Kozarev announced the full support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the successful implementation of this project and for strengthening cooperation between the postal services of the two countries.
