A round of political consultations held with the Republic of Armenia

A round of political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia was held in Belgrade on 3 April 2024.
The Armenian delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Paruyr Hovhannisyan, while the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was headed by State Secretary Ambassador Goran Aleksic.
In a friendly atmosphere, both sides emphasized their willingness to intensify political dialogue and promote bilateral cooperation in areas of common interest, especially in the economy.
The collocutors discussed cooperation within international organizations, the situation in the Western Balkans and the South Caucasus, as well as current global affairs.
The Serbian side presented plans for the preparation of the International Specialized Exhibition EXPO 2027 in Belgrade, while expressing readiness for cooperation in that regard.
