Dačić congratulated the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China on his election to the post of State Councillor
The text of the congratulatory message states:
''Dear friend, Your Excellency,
On the occasion of your election to another important post - the post of State Councillor of the People's Republic of China, on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and on my own behalf, I send you my heartiest congratulations, with the best wishes for your good health, personal happiness and much success in the performance of this responsible duty.
We very much look forward to the further strengthening of the friendly People's Republic of China, both domestically and internationally, under the leadership of the wise Chinese leaders, with the firm belief that your election to this extremely important post will significantly contribute to the further all-round development, progress and well-being of your country and Chinese people who are very close to us.
With particular satisfaction due to the outstanding overall relations between the Republic of Serbia and the People's Republic of China, which are at the highest level in their history, I would like to reiterate to you our strong readiness and sincere commitment to further enrich the comprehensive strategic partnership between our two countries, on the basis of steel friendship, as well as to continue intensive and mutually beneficial cooperation within the Belt and Road Initiative and the mechanism of China and Central and Eastern European countries.
Allow me to repeat on this occasion the deepest gratitude of the Republic of Serbia for the continuous support of the People's Republic of China to our sovereignty and territorial integrity, an issue of essential national importance. The support and understanding of your country, one of the key factors in modern international relations, is extremely important for us. In this respect, I assure you that the decisive and consistent support of the Republic of Serbia to the policy of "one China" and the principle of "one country, two systems" will be continued in the same spirit in the period ahead.
