Đurić Signs Joint Statement on the AI Opportunity Partnership

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Marko Đurić signed the Joint Statement on the AI Opportunity Partnership during the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, thereby joining Serbia to a partnership bringing together the United States and its strategic partners in the development and application of artificial intelligence.
The Joint Statement establishes a framework for cooperation in the field of superintelligence, alongside a commitment to fostering a regulatory environment conducive to growth and innovation and enabling start-ups, developers and the private sector to thrive.
The United States welcomed nineteen additional signatories to the Joint Statement during the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, bringing the total number of countries that had endorsed the Joint Statement to fifty-four by September this year.
