Minister Đurić confers with German Ambassador Anke Konrad

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Đurić, met today with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Serbia, H.E. Anke Konrad, to discuss the advancement of bilateral relations, Serbia’s European integration process, and economic cooperation between the two countries.

In a warm and friendly exchange, Minister Đurić noted that relations between Serbia and Germany are good and emphasized Serbia’s clear readiness to further strengthen cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.

He reiterated that full membership in the European Union remains a strategic commitment and a top foreign policy priority for Serbia. This, he underlined, involves continued work on implementing the reform agenda, as well as efforts to enhance good-neighbourly relations throughout the Western Balkans.

Minister Đurić observed that economic cooperation between Serbia and Germany is highly developed and expressed his hope that the coming period will also see renewed momentum in political cooperation through high-level visits and dialogue.

He stressed the importance of publicly presenting Serbian-German cooperation in its true light, highlighting that Germany, as a pillar of the European Union, remains one of Serbia’s key partners.
